Traslado de Salvador a Boipeba

Boipeba is approximately 160 km from Salvador’s Nautical Terminal. This distance includes two sea crossings: one between Salvador and Itaparica Island and the other between the Valença Waterway Terminal and the Boipeba Pier. On this route, the transfer takes around 4 hours.

For passengers wishing to go to Boipeba from Salvador, we suggest looking for flights that arrive in the Bahian capital before 8 am. This will allow you to be in Boipeba before 3 o’clock in the afternoon. For the return trip, the ideal is for your chosen flight to take off from Salvador airport after 8 o’clock in the evening. This will allow you to be at Salvador airport at around 6 pm.

How do you get to Boipeba? The semi terrestrial transfer departs from the Salvador Nautical Terminal, starting with the sea crossing between Salvador and Itaparica Island. The journey should take around 40 minutes. At the Mar Grande Terminal, on Itaparica Island, you will take the ground part of the transfer to the city of Valença. This part of the transfer takes about 2 hours. On the last leg of the journey you will take the last sea crossing between the Valença Hidroviario Terminal and the Boipeba Pier. This crossing usually takes 1 hour.

Is there a transfer between Boipeba and Morro de São Paulo? Yes. There is a semi terrestrial connection between Boipeba Pier and Morro de São Paulo Pier, lasting 90 minutes. To find out about this option, request a quote. If you want to visit Boipeba and Morro de São Paulo, we recommend starting in Boipeba, as Morro de São Paulo has more transfer time options return to Salvador, which should make it easier to combine with the time of your return flight.
